If an application is refused by the District Court or you are not satisfied with the result the Order can be appealed to the Circuit Court. A Notice of Appeal must be served on the other party and filed in the relevant District Court office together with a Statutory Declaration of Service, within 14 days. The case file will then be transferred to the Circuit Family Law Court and a date for the appeal will be allocated by post.
