If you wish to apply for legal aid for District Court Family Law cases there is a Private Practitioner Scheme of the Legal Aid Board. Laura Shannon of this office is a member of the Private Practitioner Scheme. To apply for legal aid for a District Court Family Law case you must attend at the Legal Aid Board, Dolphin House Office, 3rd Floor Dolphin House, East Essex Street, Dublin 2 with a copy of your summons, proof of income and a fee of €50. This is where the Dublin District Family Law Courts are located in Dublin City Centre. They can also be contacted on 01-8886998. If you are approved for the scheme, they will issue you with a Legal Aid Certificate.
